Frequently Asked

Plain answers to the questions we hear most. If yours isn’t here, just ask.

Are these really made by hand?

Every one. Turned, tuned, and finished by hand in small batches — never stamped out by the thousand. Each call is blown and checked before it ships.

Which call should I start with?

If you’re newer to a call, start with something forgiving and easy to run. Tell us where you hunt and how you call, and we’ll point you to the right one — no upsell.

How do I break in a new call?

Start slow, work the full range, and let the reed dry flat between sessions. Full walk-through on our Break-In & Care page.

The call went flat or stuck. What now?

Usually it’s the reed — they’re wear parts. Rinse it clean, let it dry, and if it’s still off, reach out and we’ll get you sorted.

What are they made of?

Honest materials and tight tolerances, built to ride a lanyard for years. Specific woods and finishes are listed on each product page.

Do you offer tuning or repairs?

We do. If something’s not running right, get in touch — we’d rather fix a call than see it sit in a drawer.

Still have a question?

We’ve been in the blind. Ask us anything — we talk straight.
